WETLAND DAY 2nd februvary 2020

Wetland day celebration in collaboration with Bhoomitra sena club SG college kottarakara, WWF- INDIA & Directorate of environment and climate change was held on February 3, 2020, at SG College.         

ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ജൈവവ്യവസ്ഥകളിൽ വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവുമധികം ഭീഷണിനേരിടുന്നത് തണ്ണീർതടങ്ങളാണെന്നാണ് WWF പറയുന്നത്. റോഡുപണി, വയൽ നികത്തൽ, ജലമലിനീകരണം, ലവണാംശം വർദ്ധിക്കൽ, കടന്നുകയറുന്ന ജീവികൾ തുടങ്ങിയവ തണ്ണിർത്തടങ്ങളൂടെ സന്തുലനാവസ്ഥയെ തകിടം മറിക്കുന്നു
